Hidden in a peaceful park in Herten, this historic castle offers elegant rooms, lovely gardens, and plenty of space for hugs, laughter, dancing, and raising a glass (or two). Colour inspiration includes jewel tones, warm neutrals, soft pastels, muted florals, or classic black—think Downton Abbey elegance meets a European Schloss.

Polterabend (Optional)

For those arriving early, we'd love to gather informally for pizza on Friday evening near Herten. Details will be shared here closer to the date. A Polterabend is a traditional German pre-wedding gathering where friends and family come together for a relaxed evening before the big day. Guests symbolically break porcelain for good luck, while the couple cleans up together to represent teamwork in marriage. It is informal, cheerful, and focused on celebrating with food, laughter, and good company.
